Get to Know the CEO: Alex Dolgner, CTRS

Alex is a nationally certified therapeutic recreation specialist and graduate of Illinois State University. He has experience in both clinical and community-based settings, including hospital psychiatric units, residential behavioral health, special recreation associations, and one-on-one therapeutic recreation services for individuals with developmental disabilities. He is passionate about adapting leisure activities to support individuals' physical, cognitive, and psychological functioning, aiming to enhance their quality of life while helping them achieve rehabilitation goals.

In addition to his professional work in recreational therapy, Alex is deeply committed to coaching athletics, particularly football. With 13 years of experience playing on the Offensive Line, he brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to the sport. He continuously hones his coaching skills through ongoing education and by attending football clinics across the Midwest, including those hosted by the Glazier Organization and the University of Notre Dame. Alex also actively promotes adaptive sports like Wheelchair Football and collaborates with coaches at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels. His coaching resume includes roles with youth leagues, middle and high school teams, as well as serving as an Offensive Line coach for USA Football National Team events and University of Alabama prospect camps.
